DOGGONECRAZY Presents PUPPY KINDERGARTEN 2006!

Our instructor Renee Allen grew up in Stratford, CT. She attended and graduated from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). She has extensive experience with puppies through her work as manager of DogGoneCrazy as well as through her personal pets.

She is currently living with 3 dogs - a Chihuahua, an Italian greyhound and a Miniature Pincher. Renee spends her time surrounded by animals, playing with and training them both as her career and for fun. Her knowledge and personality make her a great teacher and an informative resource for this class. With Renee’s instruction, puppy kindergarten is sure to be a great experience, in a enjoyable environment!
DogGoneCrazy is currently offering a series of six, one-hour weekly PUPPY KINDERGARTEN training sessions for puppies who have started their vaccination series and are under a year old. Classes will be held at Dog Gone Crazy in the back yard. Each puppy must be accompanied by an owner 18 years or older - additional family members are welcome to attend (age 3 or older please). All dogs must be equipped with leash and collar as we will be doing both on- and off-leash training.

PUPPY KINDERGARTEN will help to develop a strong relationship between you and your young dog. We will guide you to help train your puppy in bite inhibition, socializing skills with other dogs as well as people, and other basic manners. After our six week course, you will not only be a more knowledgeable owner, but you will also have created a bond between you and your puppy which will help him or her lead a happier, healthier life with you and your family. Classes fill up fast, so call or email now to sign up!

DogGoneCrazy's PUPPY KINDERGARTEN course is based on the book by Dr. Ian Dunbar entitled How To Teach A New Dog Old Tricks.

"Dr. Dunbar has been lecturing to veterinarians and dog clubs for over thirty years. Since 1986 he has conducted over 800 days of seminar and workshop for trainers and veterinarians around the world. There are very few educated trainers who have not been strongly influenced by Dr. Dunbar's fun & games, from-the-animal's-point-of-view, dog-friendly dog training.
Dr. Dunbar is peerless in his field; there is simply no other person who has Dr. Dunbar's qualifications, experience, and expertise in the realm of modern psychological dog training and behavior counseling-fields which Dr. Dunbar has played a major role in developing over the past 25 years."
